Backstory: The story goes back many years, to 1989 - a child was born that was destined to lead. Born to working-class parents in the distant, authoritarian land of Workland, this child saw the worst of life: parents working 20 hour days, many nights of no food, idealogical repression, and worst of all, foul language. He promised himself that everyone would know his name, and so they would.

But first, as a young man, Shawn began gathering support for a movement to overthrow the authoritarian regime and implement a new system of governance, one that would allow for much more social freedom. The movement began in a queue, waiting for the daily ration of one potato and took off. Soon, Shawn had gathered an unheard of SIX supporters! The time to act was upon is.

The march to the sterile, nondescript Grand Workers House of Work, Labor, Endeavor, and Effort for Workers began! As the seven revolutionaries stormed the Worker's House, they were met by the very small guard team of 700 soldiers. The battle would be swift and bloody and a new flag would rise... But all but the best laid plans, as they say. Six men were slaughtered and Shawn escaped with his life, only just.

A rowboat with one oar sat chopping on the waves in the harbor, but no matter - it would do. Shawn rowed for 7 years, surviving on 6 potatoes from his fallen brothers and sisters and rain water. As he saw land approaching, he couldn't help but notice the staggering beauty of the place as he planted a flag on the beach. 7 years late, a new flag did rise.

Over the subsequent years, people flocked to the shores, fleeing oppression and whatever past they were running from. Each person was given a potato and a home, no questions asked - a true utopia.

Backstory:after fleeing from occupied japanese territory, the refugees got onto some old battlecruisers and transports, along with 1 aircraft carrier and several hundred aircraft, and almost 100,000 light infantry, and only 4 light tanks. and traveled hundreds of miles, stopping at american islands along the way to refuel and be restocked, but they never stayed for more than a few days, at most it was a week before leaving and continuing the search for a safe land to call their new home. after a few weeks of dodging enemy and island hopping, they finally arrived at an island, that on their old and outdated maps, was called st lawrence island, and at first it seemed to be just another island, occupied by some other country, but as they got closer and getting ready to dock, they noticed that the old dock looked run down and unused for years. they started to go into the dock, and see dozens of small transports and boats, all of them were either swept on land, as if they were lifted by a wave from a tsunami or typhoon, and the rest were underwater and ripped in half. "my god!" admiral yukazu yashito says, "what happend here?"he asks."it seems there was a massive storm here some time ago" one of the weather analysts, yashito yamamato says. they start to dock and disembark, and when they are all on land, admiral yukazu starts ordering men to do whatever they could" you three, go and try to get those supplies, there might still be something left in those crates. all of you over there, start scouting around to try to find anything of value and scout the landscape." then, the only general that came with them, general toshido tacayama, came up to the admiral and said"admiral, my scouts have reported a nearby airbase that still has several planes, along with supplies to last us atleast another month. " anything else?" the admiral asked,"there were also many barracks, not even close to enough to house all our troops, but enough to hold atleast 10000 of our soldier, seamen, and pilots. i ordered my men to move there at once and start building barracks." the general said, "excellent." the admiral said. after a week of repairing and building, the port was up and running, the airport was regullarly sending planes on scouting missions, and the army built enough barracks to house about half of the army, navy, and airforce soldiers, seamen, and pilots.

South Acren began as a simple tribe of Germanic natives, trying to do their best to survive. Well known for their arrogant thinking and rash battle tactics, the tribe was often brushed aside. As they grew, they soon learned how to defeat a foe with battle plans instead of savage weaponry, and the Golden Age began. They built houses, small towns, even castles during this era. However, all good things must end, when a plague ravaged the barely stable nation. The Dark Era decimated the population, vut the survivors banded together and began to rebuild.

Of course that was many years ago, and the once small and insignificant nation has turned into a reasonably large nation, notable for its great economy, technology, and military might. With a new absolute monarchy, the citizens are kept happy, while the government gets what it wants. Cities are common place, and the population is well taken care of, with food, medical, jobs, transportation, and other necessities readily available. The environment is largely grassland, so trees are planeted by organizations to help bring more life to the nation.

Worldwide, its not as recognised as others, however it does provide on industrial scale, with common materials being its main export. What the nation is reconized for, is its military advancements, thanks to its Arms Industry. Its military is quite large, 10% of the population, but well organized and equipped with the best equipment of the nation.
