Question: as indicated in the “Speaker and Procedures of the Assembly Act”, the Speaker may “…revise statutes passed by the Assembly to correct typographical or clerical errors or make other non-substantive changes where expedient…” which makes sense and all, but, in that very same act articles 6 and 7 seem flipped. Like, they don’t flow as well due to 6 bringing up what the Deputy Speaker can do while 7 establishes the Deputy Speakership as a role. It’s very backwards.

I guess my question is, does this situation fall under the purview of the Speaker as suggested in article 5 or will the act need an amendment?

I think in this case flipping those two around would be okay since it wouldn't change the meaning of the act or anything. I also don't see it as particularly necessary though.

Kayden Nation has been dismissed as Deputy Speaker. Additionally, Kraljevstvo Rata has been appointed as Deputy Speaker and will be running the vote for the Officer election.

Off of the back of a short conversation on discord a while back with Grim and others, I've amended the titles of treaty threads in the legislation subforum to reflect the regions involved in the treaty (except TRR), where the title did not already reflect the involved region(s).

I have not done this for the Aegis Accords or Partnership for Regional Sovereignty due to their size.
