4th Annual Rejectmas Chess Tournament
For the fourth year running, it’s time for the Rejectmas Chess Tournament!
Okay so it’s not really a full tournament, so don’t worry if you don’t have time for loads of games. Just play chess against your fellow rejects, as many games as you want against as many people you want, and post the results here. Every win gets a point, and the person with the most points will be crowned either chess king or queen, depending on what they value more: being irreplaceably special, or being able to move very far very quickly.
Also if you win, you’ll get the joy of replacing the previous Grandmaster, outboundstagnate (RIP).
How to play:
- Find any person to play against
- Go to the site https://lichess.org/
- Click "Play with a Friend", and share the link with said person (if you share it within a group of people, then the first person to click the link will be your competitor)
- Either player should screenshot the results and share them below so that a final score can be tallied, also saying who they were playing against
Bonus points up for grabs:
- 1-3 points for chess puns or cheesy Queen's Gambit references, depending on how much they make me groan
- 3 points for keeping an accurate tally of other scores (just copy the last points tally posted and add your own
