The Council of Three is going to have to organise voting pretty soon... so we'd like to know how people would like it to work.
The main question is public vs. private.
You could argue game vs. forum, but since everyone is here, I don't think there's an issue with having voting through the forum.
If we go for public, we'll have a thread opened up for each person to post their vote in. If we go for private, we'd likely have a 'ballot collector' account on the forum that all Co3 members can access - votes would be PMed to it. That way, each member of the Co3 can verify the votes.

A possible compromise that has worked fairly well elsewhere is an anonymous forum poll, with people who have voted posting to say that they've voted. If someone's watching the changing poll totals really closely, they can figure out who voted which way, but people can also wait a little while before saying that they've voted, if that's a worry.

Since there doesn't seem to be strong feelings either way I'd like to say that I support public voting. It's the best way to ensure an honest process.

What is required to get this voting started? Does someone just need to start a voting thread?

Well, it needs to happen soon. The start of voting in this election was supposed to begin 9 days ago.
