Voting on Amendment to the Regional Officers Act
CrazyGirl has introduced an amendment to the Regional Officers Act.
Because the proposal has been thoroughly discussed and reached the appropriate number of seconds it is up for vote.
Citizens may vote in one of the three ways, either saying 'For' or 'Aye', 'Against' or 'Nay, or 'Abstain' or 'Present'.
This vote will end on January 7, 2020, at 1:40 PM EST.
1. This Act is the Regional Officers Act.
2. The Delegate must not appoint as a regional officer a person whose citizenship application was rejected or whose citizenship was revoked for any reason other than not having a nation in the region, and has not since gained citizenship.
3. The Assembly retains its Constitutional power to direct the Delegate to dismiss a regional officer, and to direct the Delegate not to appoint a person as regional officer.
4. Regional officers, in exercising their powers, are subject to the same limitations set out in law as the Delegate.
5. The Delegate must endeavour to ensure that, in exercising their powers, regional officers abide by NationStates rules and regional law and act in a way that represents the region well.
