OVERVIEW:
The Department of Defense of The League is a government institution tasked with upholding The League's interests abroad and insuring regional security. The League Department of Defense is divided into two subordinate departments, The League's Defense Forces (LDF) and the Intelligence Agency (LIA).
The incumbent Director of the Department of Defense is The New Fandom Republic.
The League's Defense Forces is led by General of the Defense Forces Lyoa and the Intelligence Agency is led by Director Spode Humbled Minions.
This thread will be used to publish updates and reports on the operations conducted by the LDF and public-suitable updates from the LIA.

DEFENSE FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC REPORT:
General of the Defense Forces Lyoa has published the 2 May 2021 weekly report! This past week the LDF participated in a total of 13 updates and was in 11 defenses and 168 detags within Libcord. The LDF additionally participated in support operations in Japan, Belgium, and Christmas, as well as a liberation in Japan. Finally, the LDF lef it's first multi-organization operation against the Republic of Conservative Nations who has been attempting to undermine The League for years.

General of the Defense Forces Lyoa has released the 9 May 2021 weekly report. The League's Defense Forces during the past week participated in a total of 11 updates within Libcord and 1 update as part of a multi-organization anti-fascist operation led by the LDF. The LDF under Libcord participated in 68 defenses, 83 detags, and 6 supports. The Defense Force is especially proud of the multiregional operation it led against the region of Genua which unwisely used The League as a jump point for a raid.

Weekly Update 5/16/21
General of the Defense Forces New Makasta has released the 9 May 2021 weekly report. The League's Defense Forces during the past week participated in a total of 12 updates within Libcord and 1 update as part of a multi-organization anti-fascist operation led by ANTFA. The LDF under Libcord participated in 18 defenses, 24 detags, 1 libration, and 16 supports. LDF enlisted member DinoNet was promoted to Colonel this week. Congratulations Dino!
