Sedgistan

Sedgistan, or Sedge, is a former member of The Rejected Realms, a former Delegate and Officer. Despite his contributions and his time spent as a member of TRR's community, he is perhaps better known as a Defender, for his time in the Founderless Regions Alliance, and as a Moderator. Although his time in NationStates was not devoid of controversy, his work as a NationStates player and moderator earned him the respect of much of the community, both in The Rejected Realms and abroad.
Sedgistan first became involved in gameplay organisations when his home region, The New Power Federation, lost its founder, he went on to rise through the ranks of The Founderless Regions Alliance, eventually becoming its Arch-Chancellor, and became a prominent defender figure, playing a key role in the liberation of Feudal Japan and in setting the direction of the newly-founded Security Council.
He became a Moderator in 2010 and serving for seven years, until his retirement from NationStates, and becoming one of the better known and most respected Moderators in the gameplay community, having brought better insight and greater attention to many Gameplay-related issues,
As a member of The Rejected Realms he stood out as an important political figure in the year following Kandarin's resignation, eventually being elected as Delegate. Following his service as Officer and Delegate, he served for several more years as a level-headed forum administrator and advisor.
