Yes, damn those unchivalrous bastards.Mahaj wrote:04 Jan 2012, 02:39There's a difference between ten or twenty non updaters, where your logic makes sense, and fifty + updaters, where it begins to cross the line IMO.sedge wrote:04 Jan 2012, 00:24I don't understand this thing about non-updaters. Some people can't manage to get on at update for RL reasons. Why is it therefore "incompetent" for them to want to still participate in raiding/defending? It'd be a stupid waste of resources if you refused to let them participate.
I can understand being annoyed with raiders mocking you for not getting the numbers at update - as they can bulk up their numbers with non-updaters - but calling them incompetent for letting non-updaters play the game? Just doesn't make sense.
@ST Europeia and TNI combined i think.

I like the game to which the invaders posted a link.Tim-Opolis wrote:07 Jan 2012, 23:57So how about Asia
The raid doesn't seem that hostile to me. The delegate who was displaced is endorsing the raider delegate.

Don't defenders have legions of non-updaters they themselves can call in a pinch? Regions such as Texas, TUF, and UK?

erm... I haven't seen many. Defending is mostly an update thing, non updaters are used after libs (where its mostly just UDLers) or noob raiders moving in early (where 4 people can adequately cover it).Evil Wolf wrote:10 Jan 2012, 01:40Don't defenders have legions of non-updaters they themselves can call in a pinch? Raiders probably need and use non updaters more.

We use updates just as much as defenders, we still have to take the region after all.

Sedge has a point, though. It is a waste of resources not to use non-updaters for support. But I would Like to argue as well that it is also a waste of resources to pile-up even the other updaters for support, regardless of affiliation.
I'd be impressed if a signle raider region was able to raid AND hold three regions at the same time, WHILE being able to repel multiple lib attempts.
'tis true, in the long run, invader soldiers will bore themselves to death.

No, he's still the elected delegate, but he's 14 days inactive at this point so the vice-delegate was forced to take over.

Osiris had a security issues with someone trying to endo swap and legislation that needed Dali's approval. With him, being away so long, it was decided by the council to have Oliver take over in the time being to tell with the pressing matters. If Dali returns, Oliver will step down. Other wise Oliver will be delegate until the next elections.

Shocker there...
Osiris seems to be more Lazarus-esque in its activity, but the switch to Oliver went well. Surprisingly, no successful (or even well thought out) coups.
