I must admit it was pretty funny
But it was also a shock to wake up to a raided TRR.
Now I see TNI is pushing for non-updaters to come. Hopefully, they don't get enough
Though raids are fun and I enjoyed seeing this, I don't appreciate a full-time TNI occupation of a region where I am a government member

Hey Tim, you seem to be experiencing a case of "the shoe is on the other foot" shock. It's a lot like anaphylactic shock, but nothing to do with food or environmental substances.
:-P
EDIT: PS --- I don't buy the claim that they only want to be here for one update. I reckon they want to make a point by staying as long as they can.

Their lead just left and TRR is free (Wham's over 120 endos right now).
They promised they'll stay longer the next time.

"Promised", eh? Did they imagine we'll miss them?
Well, maybe I'd miss them right now, but by the time they come back I'll have put in time on the target range, and I won't.

If they wanted TRR, they would have needed to have more men, and men that aren't loyal to the Realms

Shortest TRR occupation in history, I think it might be. All the others who did this tactic did it under the old "one true update per 24 hour" set up, I believe.

"We are holding this region for a single update" was basically a way to declare victory when there was none

I think they more or less just wanted to do it because they could. That's basically the main reason why anyone attacks TRR these days.

I Have This Friend Who ...The Borderlands of Really Is This Needed

Ok so a puppet nation of a friend of mine (ex-raider) wants to be a WAD in a region so the FRA attack the region attempting to prevent him from being a leader. FRA is worse than raiders these days. Oh and I get accused of being the puppet nation. Sad. So so so so so sad -.-

I should have suggested that the delegate, Devoted Decons, eject Amen Ra from the region. In hindsight, Amen Ra being an infiltrator was pretty obvious. What kind of Catholic names his nation after an Egyptian god?

I'm curious and I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this or not. I put it here because this seems to be where we talk about raids and such.
I've just noticed this NS thread Krull's War against GGR, taken up by TWP at War against GGR, and I'm wondering what opinion folks here have of something that looks like a futile gesture to me. I've never seen the point of raiding a founded region; OTOH these guys are so objectionable to a lot of players that I'm not surprised people are getting annoyed to the point of irrationality.

You are under the impression that those at war with the GGR are going to raid the GGR. That isn't how this is going to work.Thought Transference wrote:29 May 2012, 07:20I'm curious and I don't know if this is the right thread to ask this or not. Yes, I was under that impression. Call me unimaginative but I'm not sure how else it could work.
So, is there any point repeating Fratt's question or will you just say "wait and see"?
