I still like my international shuffle idea. Every nation in the world is forcibly moved to another region, and it cannot move out. On April 2, everything is reset to the way it was on March 31.

I like this idea.

I think the bar has been set high (IPO/Zombie Outbreak) that an obscure, simple "no update day" will disappoint some people

Plus, no update would look more like a stupid server problem than a scary or fun (or both) new feature, which is what they've been going nearly all the times.

I think they're going to go for another minigame like the IPO or the bytecoins, because that's what people probably expect now.

Yeah, if they have a decent idea, Fratt is probably right. Hopefully it'll be something fun.

If they wanted to actually prank people, they could do something like cancel regions

Shove everyone into "one big region" (the world page), and maybe have a one-off WMB (although it'd probably be too busy to moderate).

One thing I think we should all be proud of is that no two democracies on NationStates have ever gone to war with each other. Or two nations of any type. No matter how great our differences, we've always been able to resolve them through diplomacy and compromise, as opposed to a violent emptying of nuclear arsenals that endangers all life on the planet.

We should appreciate this while we can.

War-between-nations minigame? With mutually assured destruction, of course.
