New Consulate and Embassy Policy

The Union of Democratic States has undergone major policy and procedural shifts, following the ratification of the Constitution in January and the establishment of a new direction for the government by our President Phoenix Coalition. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has subsequently re-evaluated and reworked how it operates especially with regard to the establishment and maintenance of our respective forum consulate and in-game embassy systems.
These changes have resulted in a fundamentally new embassy policy. A forum consulate is now a prerequisite for consideration for an in-game embassy. The Union of Democratic States remains committed to those regions with which we have had long-term social and cultural relations and is open to building new friendships through a progressive relationship initially manifested through a consulate and finally manifested through an in-game embassy.
