United Kingdom Embassy on NationStates!
We are proud to announce that we have now launched our NationStates Embassy page! You can find the page, here! The purpose behind this page is to issue statements and publish our updates/dispatches to the wider NationStates community. I'm pleased to see that we have already seen some people posting on our page.

Reaffirming Our Commitment to Friends and Allies
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office, has announced as part of it's comprehensive relations review, that the Foreign Secretary will be initiating a review of every Treaty that has been signed by the Government of United Kingdom. These reviews will be based on every treaty that is over one year old. The aim of these reviews is to bring our Governments back together and review whether the committments we made still meet our needs and how we can further develop our special relationships. Invitations to these meetings will be made through your designated Ambassador.

The Newcomer Badge
The Government, as a part of it's programme to welcome new citizens has developed 'The Newcomer Badge'. The Government recognises that being a new citizen can, for some, be quite daunting. In order to support new citizens with their integration into the region, the Government has developed a set of activities to complete. When the citizen completes all of the tasks, they get a nice shiny to add to their signature.
