Overview:Ambassadors serve the Department of Foreign Affairs' Diplomatic Corps by breathing life into our foreign embassies. We encourage Rejects to become ambassadors to build interregional rapport and explore the wider NationStates community, all the while strengthening our relationships with our allies and friends.
Our ambassadors share our Foreign Updates and complete weekly tasks in their assigned embassies. These services are invaluable to maintaining our embassies and ensuring we have meaningful relationships.
By coordinating in the #diplomatic-corps Discord channel on the Rejected Realms' Discord server, we are able to coordinate promotions of upcoming events and ongoing or one-off programs to all of our allies and friends via our ambassadors.
Expectations:
- Apply for "Ambassador", "Foreign Diplomat", or equivalent masking in your embassy region's forum or Discord server
- Post Foreign Updates within three days of their release in your embassy region's preferred location; either on their regional forum or Discord server
- Post in your embassy region's RMB and in its Discord server's "general" or equivalent channel at least once every two weeks so as to keep up with weekly tasks pinned in the #diplomatic-corps Discord channel on TRR's Discord server
Only ambassadors for TRR can be in the Diplomatic Corps, with exception to the Officer of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Officers of Foreign Affairs who help run the corps. First, check our embassies listed here and see if there are any currently vacant. If there are any vacancies that you would like to fill, please reply below with the name of the region(s).
Our preference will be to assign you to a region that does not have a current ambassador assigned, but do let us know if you have interest in a filled embassy. Your personal history and the state of our relationship with the region will be taken into account before we reply to your expression of interest.
