Preamble
Established on the 23rd of March in 2019, the Rejected Reform Party was created with the goal of stimulating and advancing the region as a whole. The Rejected Reform Party, further on known as the RRP, exists to nurture the region by defending its democratic values. Seen solely as a democratic egalitarian group, the RRP stops at nothing to ensure that all citizens are represented and have equal rights.
Article I - Membership
1.1 Any Reject, as long as they are a citizen, are qualified to join the RRP.
1.2 To guarantee that the RRP stays efficient and large, the Reform Central Committee (RCC) shall decide amongst themselves to either accept or deny party applicants.
Article II - Party Leadership
2.1 To assure that members are represented and order is kept, internal governmental positions shall exist.
2.2 There shall be no limit to how many times a candidate can be elected to a leadership position in the party.
Article III - The Chairperson
3.1 The Chairperson is the face of the RRP and is responsible for maintaining the RRP's public political presence, updating party members on party events and activities, posting announcements, and assisting the RCC on the development of party stances on important issues facing the region.
3.2 The Chairperson shall be directly elected by all party members via a simple majority and shall serve for a term of three months. If neither candidate gets the majority of votes, a runoff election shall be held between the two remaining candidates.
Article IV - The Deputy Chairperson
4.1 The Deputy Chairperson is a party leader and is responsible for helping the Chairperson carry out their duties.
4.2 The Deputy Chairperson shall be appointed by the RCC and confirmed by the party as a whole via a simple majority vote.
4.3 The Deputy Chairperson may be removed by the Chair at any time through a party announcement or by the RCC via a simple majority vote.
4.4 The position of Deputy Chairperson may not remain vacant for long. If the RCC decides that the position has been unfilled for longer than necessary, they may temporarily appoint a party member to the seat until they can hold a vote amongst themselves.
Article V - The Reform Central Committee
5.1 The Reform Central Committee, also known as the RCC, is the party leadership council responsible for accepting new members, determining the party's stance on regional issues, and aiding the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson in the management of the party.
5.2 There are to be five seats on the RCC.
5.3 RCC members shall be directly elected by party members for a term of two months each.
5.4 The roles of the elected committee members are to be determined by the Chairperson.
5.5 The RCC may trigger an early Chair election through a unanimous vote of no confidence.
Article VI - Elections
6.1 Elections are to be held by the Chairperson.
6.2 Any member may run for a party position as long as they have been in the party for at least a week.
6.3 Elections in total shall last about four days or 96 hours.
6.4 Elections shall be held on the official regional forum of The Rejected Realms in the party's decided spot in the Community Centre.
Article VII - Chain of Succession
7.1 In the event that the Chairperson resigns, goes inactive for two weeks without notice, or is recalled, the Deputy Chairperson shall assume the duties of the Chair. An election for the Chairperson’s position shall nevertheless be called within a week of this situation arising.
7.2 If the Deputy Chair is also unavailable, the RCC shall nominate a party member to serve as Acting Chairperson.
