Helloooooooo Rejects and friends! After a long day of being an outcast, sometimes a good song can soothe the soul. Music can transport us and bring us together. So let’s come together to share our favorite songs with each other!

What we will have is a contest a lot like Eurovision except you will not have to submit an original song and can just submit a song that you happen to like a lot. We want to be as inclusive as possible and not everyone is musically gifted. Each person who would like to participate will submit one song to be judged. All participants will then cast their votes, ranking songs they like the best.

How To Submit A Song

You will be able to submit a song either on our regional forum in this thread or via telegram to Dead I Jack. You have one week, from November 4th to November 11th .

The following format should be used for submission:
Voting

Once the submission period ends, a list will be provided with all the songs that were entered into the contest. Then it will be up to each individual participant to listen to the songs and determine which ones they like the best. We might also host a listening session, if there is enough interest, on our discord server with a playlist of all the songs submitted for the contest. It’ll be a good way to hang out and maybe to get to know some different people. More information on that will come as things develop.

The voting system will look like below (subject to change based off of number of entries)

Once the submission period ends there will be one week to vote from November 11th to November 18th. If a participant fails to send a vote their entry will be eliminated from the contest. Once everyone has voted the points will be tallied and the entry with the highest points will be declared the winner.

We have 23 songs entered into this competition and it is up to each person who participated to rank their favorite songs. Any person who does not vote will have their entry disqualified.

You will rank songs according to the below template. Your favorite song will be given the highest points and so on and you will choose 3 alternate songs in case of a ranked song entry being disqualified due to failure to vote. When you vote for an entry please vote by the name of the entrant, not the name of the song. Also you can't vote for yourself

Good evening everyone and welcome to the first ever, RejectVision results show, I'm your host Deadeye Jack.

Twenth-three brave souls entered the competition and dazzled the region. We've seen the acts, we've analyzed their performances, we've even deconstructed the psychological aspects that went behind the entries; and now it's time to find out who won the darn thing.

But before we get to the votes let's first give out some thanks. I would like to thank everyone who entered RejectVision you all had a hand in making this an enjoyable experience. I would also like to thank Wopruthien for integral support in helping to run the competition and getting people to enter. Without Wopruthien this event wouldn't have been nearly as big.

On to the votes! Out of 23 entries, 4 are disqualified per the rules due to the failure to submit a vote. The 4 disqualifications are Kuriko, Araluen Ranger Corps, Nequedum, and Wildergorn. Of the remaining 19 entries there were many that garnered top preferences from the voters, but our top 3 consists of songs that had broad bases of support.

In third place, with a song by Panic! At the Disco, it's ALTASUND.

Our runner up, is a beuatiful, melancholic song called K. by Cigarettes After Sex entered by HARMONEIA.

Finally we have our winner, an indie powerhouse, a song that was given points by all points allowed to legally vote for it, it's....(checks card)...Silver Lining by Mt. Joy submitted by DEADEYE JACK.
