UK Parties Poll

Post by Christian Democrats »

The U.K. will hold its general election on May 7.

I'm American but decided to take a British political quiz anyway.

https://gb.isidewith.com/political-quiz

My Results
Conservative: 84%
UKIP: 83%
Democratic Unionist: 76% (lol)
LibDems: 72%
Labour: 64%
Sinn Fein: 60%
SNP: 55%
Plaid Cymru: 53%
BNP: 41%
Green: 23%

If I were British, I'd probably vote for the Conservative candidate or an Orange Book LibDem.

What are your results after taking this political quiz?
"I was born free and desire to continue so."

92% Labour
88% LibDem
87% Green
41% BNP
31% UKIP
27% Tories

88% Plaid
86% SNP
71% Sinn
6% DUP

Notwithstanding that I don't have very strong feelings on nationalism of any group within the UK, I definitely think that they should transition from their current system of absolute Westminsterial sovereignty to a federal system.

I kinda gave up on the weightings after a while, so my results are probably a little skewed. Overall, not very surprising, considering simply by-the-platform stances on various current issues were canvassed.

That's about right with my current feelings in all honesty. I'm toying with a Labour/Green or Lib Dem vote. Though the Lib Dems less likely after their last showing. Very much a safe labour seat where I live, but under increasing pressure from UKIP who I cannot stand. So I was surprised to see a high score (same with BNP). However I apparently agree with them quite strongly that England should have their own devolved assembly and that votes just for England should have English only MP votes unless the above happens. Mind you in the current climate that is not going to be possible.

My local MP is very much against changing to English only votes, as he is right most of my fellow constituents work in England despite living in Wales. The joys of a border town.

Because the British public was too idiotic to vote for electoral reform when we had the referendum. Most felt betrayed by the Lib Dems and voted against it to get at them... only I don't think they were aware that the issue is/was much bigger than the Lib Dems.

I got Con top. I'd never vote for them. In truth, no party fits my beliefs. Plus, it wouldn't matter who I vote for. I live now in an old mining town. Andy Burnham will win here. My left boot could run for Labour and win.

Ukip and bnp are a lot of..... bankers shall we say? Lib Dems are as useless as a condom machine in the Vatican. It got it right that I'd go DUP over Sinn Fein, but I'd even vote Conservative over those terrorists. I mean, come on, one of their prominent leaders is a self confessed former member of the IRA. In terms of the regional parties it lists DUP, Plaid Cymru, Sinn Fein, then snp. Not that I can entirely agree
