I must admit that it's a bit hard for me to get into Pokémon after beating the Elite 4 because there is so much going on in the game.

I pre-ordered X. Comes out October 12th. Once I beat the elite four, I'll transfer all my pokemon from Black 2. Wonder how they'll go about with obtaining Mewtwo, and those Horde battles will really help with leveling. The Sky Battles seem dull in comparison though.

I really enjoyed Pokemon Y. Still do. I'm still breeding and training the ideal pokemon. I also still can't get my hands on Manaphy, Jirachi or Arceus. I was fortunate enough to get a Mew though. Hard to come by. I've gotten most of the legendary pokemon in my pokedex because my brother was extremely lucky enough to get his hands on most of them.

I have copies of some of the legendary pokemon that I don't need, so I've been trading them on the GTS over and over, looking for ideal legendaries with proper natures and ones I don't have. I think I have like 2 or 3 of the regis, except for regigigas. I only have 1 of him and he's the right nature. I even got my hands on a few shiny legendaries. My brother was so damned lucky he got a shiny Deoxys and a shiny Arceus. I'm so jelly!

Sometimes it doesn't just come down to luck all the time, ever heard of soft reseting. It's a Slow procsess, but it's easy and efficient

Beastie Bay is the biggest ripoff of Pokemon. Very fun thpugh.

Soft resetting doesn't work for trading on the GTS and most of the legendary pokemon aren't available in X and Y. So soft resetting wouldn't help for most of them.

I probably shouldn't have given up trying to complete the Dex on Y, but damn is it hard these days. Catchin' em all is really an involved process now >__>

I'm STILL trying to complete it. I'm at about 654 or something. Trading on the GTS, breeding, etc. Got my hands on a shiny, adamant Deoxys.

Still looking for a modest Heatran though. I have like 6 Heatran's and none of them are the right nature.

I cbf to breed for nature and IVs anymore, its too much. At least with Showdown its quick and easy action

Breeding has actually become embarrassingly easy since X/Y. You can control what ability, what nature, what egg moves and even what IVs are passed down, simultaneously. As far as completeing the pokedex goes, the hard part is getting your hands on Arceus, Manaphy, Jirachi, Mew, Genesect and Meloetta. This is only because for each one of them, everyone wants either Mew, Genesect or Meloetta and none of them can be traded on the GTS. So one would have to troll the boards at Gamefaqs and hope someone is feeling REALLY generous. That's how I got my own Mew, Genesect and Meloetta.

The games will be available on the Nintendo 3DS.

The games will feature Pokémon that did not appear in Pokémon Sun and Moon.

I'm actually working on completing the alolan pokedex. Just about half way through.

I have caught collected 118 pokemon of the alolan pokedex and seen 368. I've also got some pokemon that are not in the pokedex though.
