I watched Mandy, a Nicolas Cage revenge movie which Wikipedia describes as "psychedelic action horror". It's certainly psychedelic.
The basic plot was B-movieish (not necessarily a bad thing) and not very inventive for its genre imo, but the photography was good.
Requires appreciation for Tarantino levels of violence, but with less rounded characters and more reality bending.
In this world there are two kinds of people: those with loaded guns and those who dig. I dig.
I really liked: Isn't it romantic.
I've thrown popcorn at my TV whilst trying to watch : Pacific Rim.
"Dark tower" is toe curling bad. I recommend not reading the books before watching.
Same for : ready player one.
decent. I actually liked The Last Jedi a lot and thought they should've doubled down on what they did in it. That's not what happens in the Rise of Skywalker, but its acting is very good, especially from Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver.
Manson told Jack to put these in his sig, so he presumably wants me to as well:

I actually really liked the new Star Wars.

At the beginning though I thought Emperor Palpatine was bound to the Sith Wayfinder. Unfortunately they pulled some dumb stuff and somehow he was alive in his actual body. Y'know what? I would've even accepted that the Sith before him wouldn't let his soul rest until he found an heir or killed Rey. Legitimately hated the Rey = Palpatine's Granddaughter part though until the ritual. It was a big bruh moment and was literally just Luke = Vader's son. Other than that, I liked that they brought Palpatine back. Is it bad I wanted him to slaughter everyone and create the Final Order?

The average life expectancy of a Manson deputy after their appointment is four days. Good luck.

Yes. Seek help.

I thought the latest Star Wars was the epitome of its disney-fication lol. Nonetheless, I appreciate how far they've come from classic sci-fi sexualization with Leia, to making her a general and properly developing Rey's character outside of the "your compassion will save us" trope that female heroes like Wonder Woman fall victim to.
