Off the top of my head, Prometheus is the film I'm looking forward to the most, though it's not out until June next year. It was supposed to be a prequel to Alien, but it's kind of ended up separate to it. I'm a sucker for all the Alien films (and the related Predator ones), so I'll love this - but hopefully with Ridley Scott directing it'll be a quality film too.

Most recently watched: House At The End Of The Street
The story of a witless cop, an overbearing mother, a hapless female protagonist, and a boy who grew up to be a murderous sicko due to unconvincing childhood abuse sold to the audience as a plot twist. Watch this movie if you revel in absolutely dreadful Hollywood screen writing paired with C grade acting.

Movies are cool, Guardians of the Galaxy was pretty good, but... but... you guys need to get theatering (I know, I too was over masculine and scared of theatre, don't worry it's okay, it doesn't mean you're gay) some of the stuff they do on stage is a whole other level to movies, granted they can get a bit pricey if you want like right in the middle of the stalls for Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan's Skylight (£125 a ticket) but believe me (this is over a days wages to me...) it is SO worth it! The cheaper plays (1984 was about £40 a ticket) can be mind blowing too (to date my favourite play) and if you don't mind sitting a little further back I just bought tickets for three plays (The National Theatre James Plays) for £15 a ticket. So, really, why are we still fuelling the hollywood machine?

One reason to prefer movies is that you can see them at your convenience.

I finally got around to watching Wolf of Wall Street. It's really overrated. I didn't like it much tbh. Big fan of Leonardo Di Caprio's later films, but this was a real let down as I was expecting big things.

I highly recommend you guys watch Whiplash, I'm astonished it didn't win best picture last tear (though not to discredit birdman). It's really well shot, has some killer performances, notably by Simmons and Teller, and it was by far one of the most intense movies I've ever seen. You get really into by the end. Must watch for any jazz musicians, and also everyone else.

It was really good!
I also saw John Wick 2; if you liked the first one you'll love the second.

Saw Logan a while back, it was good. Also saw Dunkirk, good movie but just couldn't quite capture the great scale of the reality.
Looking forward to the Star Wars movie and the Deadpool sequel.
Also watched "Some like it hot" which is a classic one, and speaking of older movies, I also loved Singing in the rain.
