The Outlander Program is a fabulous way for Residents and Non Residents alike to get involved in the Rejected Realms. Ever had something you've been dying to write about? To Write via the Outlander Program, all you need to do is contact the Editor-in-Chief via Telegram in game, or via discord as a DM! It's as easy as that. Send them a message telling them you are interested in writing an article for The Rejected Times, give them your idea and they, or a Deputy Editor-in-Chief, should get back to you within 24 Hours with a response (hopefully approval). You should then be given a due date, and you just send them your complete article before that day!
Please Note: The Rejected Times reserves the right to edit your article, and to ultimately not publish it for any reason.
As part of writing for the Outlander Program, you are free to contact the Editor-in-Chief, or their deputies for tips, tricks or advice on how to write a better article. They may respond themselves with advice or send a senior, experienced member of staff your way to help. We're always happy to help you write a better article that's more enjoyable to both read and write!
However, like all good things in life, there are some limits. You will not be allowed to publish more than 2 Articles via the Outlander Program. However, naturally, you can continue to write for the organization by applying for membership here! - Although this does require Rejected Realms citizenship.
We will not publish any articles submitted via the Outlander Program in Brief News due to its nature of being short, snappy opinionless articles.
